Samsung Galaxy Xcover Extreme S5690 review
Plus
- Looks nice
- Rugged features
- Well protected microSD card slot
- Torch function
- Gorilla Glass screen
Minus
- Low screen resolution
- Some water seepage in our under the tap test
- Poor camera
- On the large side
- No Flash support
Conclusion
Samsung has made rugged handsets before, and not done too bad, but this is the first time the company has brought rugged features to an Android smartphone, and we aren't all that excited, because the general specifications are average rather than great. If we were choosing a rugged smartphone right now, we'd choose the Motorola Defy+ rather than the Samsung Galaxy Xcover. Sorry, Samsung. -

Ingen omtaleFirst look of Samsung Galaxy S5690 X cover
Like every other thing in this world the device has got its plus and negative points. Its solid connectivity set and good all-round user experience with the latest version of Android and TouchWiz, all pushes it forward in the competition but its display, camera and design hinder its way ahead. Samsung can range this device towards the lower end of midrange. We hope and wish Galaxy Xcover to make good business for Samsung.
